“Across the universe”

Is the title for a movie which i saw recently.
It’s a very romantic musical movie. It’s called “Across the universe” And yes, that’s one of The Beatles’ song title. I enjoyed watching the movie. it was really cool. All the songs that are included and sang in the movie is by the Beatles. Their greatest songs, from “Hey jude.” to “All my loving.” & from “I’ve just seen a face.” To “With A Little Help From My Friends.”

The movie is basically about a dock worker jude; a british guy who has never met his father his entire life. and He has been living with his mother all these years. Then he decideds to meet him. You see now his Father is american. So he decides to leave his hometown and head to The united States of america where he meet this guy Max And his sister Lucy who he falls in love with. and when Max is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, they become involved in peace activism. The movie characters  are named after various songs like jude, lucy and Prudence.

    Across The Universe is a fictional love story set in the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, the struggle for free speech and civil rights, mind exploration and rock and roll. At once gritty, whimsical and highly theatrical, the story moves from high schools and universities in Massachusetts, Princeton and Ohio to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the Detroit riots, Vietnam and the dockyards of Liverpool. A combination of live action and animation, the film is paired with many songs by The Beatles that defined the time.
